Meet Larissa. 

Kilnfolk was founded by Larissa, a passionate ceramicist originally from Brazil who has called Melbourne home since 2017. After years of working in a different field, Larissa decided in 2022 to pursue her lifelong love for ceramics full-time. After teaching pottery for 2+ years, she quickly realised her dream of creating a studio that’s more than just a place to learn techniques.

For Larissa, Kilnfolk is about fostering a sense of community where people can unwind and express themselves through the tactile, grounding experience of working with clay. Her warm and encouraging teaching style has inspired countless students to explore their artistic potential. Larissa is thrilled to welcome you to Kilnfolk and looks forward to sharing her passion for pottery with the growing community of clay enthusiasts.
