  • Gain foundational skills and confidence to explore further classes.

  • Class price includes all tools, material and firings, and two fully finished food safe pieces to be collected within 5 weeks.

  • Option to keep more pieces at the end of the class at a $10 extra per piece.

  • Please allow for an extra 10 minutes at the end of class for extra information and pieces selection.

  • This class is offered every Saturday 2pm.


6-Weeks Throwing Course

Embark on an Extended Journey into Wheel-Thrown Pottery: A 6-Week Immersive Course

  • A focused, 6-week curriculum designed to build your confidence and technique on the wheel quickly.

  • Perfect for absolute beginners or those returning to the clay, focusing on the core mechanics of centering and pulling consistent walls.

  • Experience the complete pottery process from a piece of clay to trimming, firing, and final glaze application.

  • Move past "happy accidents" to create purposeful forms, learning the physics and "why" behind the clay.

  • Your fee covers all professional tools, premium clay, house glazes, and both bisque and glaze firings.

  • Expect to create a curated collection of 8-12 unique, food-safe ceramic pieces to take home.


8-Weeks Wheel Throwing Course

The Complete Potter: An 8-Week Masterclass in Wheel-Thrown Ceramics

Course duration: 2 hours each week for 8 weeks

  • Extending to an eight-week format provides the luxury of time to truly settle into the wheel, moving beyond the basics to focus on the nuances of centering and wall-pulling.

  • Ideal for absolute beginners to establish a strong foundation, and for those with some experience to further develop their throwing abilities.

  • The extra weeks allow for a full immersion in the pottery cycle, ensuring you don't just "make a pot" but fully understand every stage from the first wedge of clay to the final glaze firing.

  • With additional sessions, you can move past the initial learning curve to refine your forms, focusing on intentionality in your shapes rather than just the "happy accidents" of shorter courses.

  • All necessary tools, clay, a selection of glazes, and both bisque and glaze firings are provided within the course fee.

  • Benefit from increased practice and instruction, allowing you to create and take home approximately 8-15 unique, food-safe ceramic items.

8-Weeks Hand Building Course

The Hand-Builder’s Journey: An 8-Week Deep Dive into Clay

Course duration: 2 hours each week for 8 weeks

Discover the meditative art of creating without a wheel. This comprehensive 8-week course guides you through the three pillars of hand-building: pinching, coiling, and slab construction. From the very first thumbprint to the final glaze fire, you will develop the technical skills and creative confidence to transform raw clay into a curated collection of functional and sculptural forms.

  • Develop a Cohesive Collection: 8 weeks allow you to create a series of works that feel like they belong together.

  • Technical Troubleshooting: More time means more opportunities to learn from "happy accidents" and perfect your joining techniques.

  • Creative Autonomy: As the course progresses, you'll have the studio space and guidance to move beyond class exercises and start realising your own unique designs.


Mother’s Day Workshop - Hand Building and Nibbles

Course duration: 2 hours and 30 minutes

There is something so grounding about the ancient art of the pinch pot. No wheels, no heavy machinery—just the warmth of your hands and a simple ball of clay.

We’ll go through two different projects: the Petal Bowl and our signature Dimpled Tea Cups. Each piece is a slow, rhythmic journey from earth to art, where every thumbprint tells a unique story.

This Mother’s Day, we’re opening the studio for a morning dedicated to this tactile craft. Whether you’re coming to learn a new skill with Mum or simply want to escape the noise for a few hours of slow making, there is a seat at the table for you.
